Located just 45 Miles from the Canyon, Jacob Lake Inn is the gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. In order to get to any of the National Parks or other destination on the North Rim, you must drive pass Jacob Lake Inn first. This makes us the ideal location for all of your North Rim Adventures!
Staying at Jacob Lake Inn also provides easy access to a wealth of natural wonders that are close by. From the North Rim, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon and its stunning rock formations. They can also explore the nearby Kaibab National Forest, which boasts of diverse wildlife, hiking trails, and beautiful scenery. For those who love stargazing, the inn’s location away from city lights makes it the perfect spot to marvel at the night sky.
The North Rim is open for day use. Cape Royal and Point Imperial are open until November 30th, or until the first major snow storm. There are no services in the national park, so stock up on supplies and cookies before heading to the viewpoints for the day.
Jacob Lake Inn remains a welcoming basecamp for travelers, offering lodging, dining, and a place to stay informed about the latest updates on the North Rim’s status.
